BOH SANG CHIN
Senior Consultant, Practice Manager
Boh Sang Chin joined Magenta as an Executive Search Consultant in early 2005. He is currently the Practice Manager in the firm and has leadership responsibilities overseeing company sales and operations.
He has strong experience in mid-to-senior level search assignments that covers several functional areas - Finance, Information Technology, Operations and Marketing - across diverse sectors. This includes the Banking, IT, Oil and Gas and FMCG industries amongst others. Due to his strong finance background, Sang Chin has a good track record in presenting quality Finance candidates in a relatively short period of time. His major clients include established Foreign and Local Banks as well as leading organisations in the IT space.
Before he embarked on an Executive Search career, Sang Chin has worked in both top MNCs as well as dynamic start-up companies. He first started his career as an auditor in PriceWaterhouse Singapore. Upon the completion of his postgraduate studies, he took on a senior Business Development and Strategic Marketing role at Ufinity Pte Ltd - a successful IT start-up and spin-off from the National Computer Board (NCB).
His strong interest in the branding and marketing space has also seen him being engaged in roles as a Brand Consultant at Interbrand (the world-renowned international brand consultancy) and AVP, Marketing and Business Development at UOB High Networth Banking (Private and Privilege Banking). Leveraging on his wide exposure to different industries, Sang Chin's key advantage is his ability to effectively engage senior level candidates across various functions and sectors.
Sang Chin holds a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy from the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore and a Masters of Commerce (Marketing) from the University of New South Wales, Australia.
JOE CHUA
Senior Consultant
Joe Chua joined the firm from the banking industry in 2006 and has quickly established himself as a highly effective search consultant and an invaluable asset to the company and his clients alike. He focuses on Banking, Finance and Legal search engagements.
He first started his career as an external auditor in one of the Big 4 accounting firms before embarking on a career in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance. He spent about 7 years with various banks where he was involved in various transactions including primary and secondary equity issues, mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, privatisations and other corporate advisory mandates.
Joe graduated from the Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons).
LIM YEE LAI
Senior Consultant
Lim Yee Lai joined Magenta Consulting in 2007 from the IT sector and has grown from stride to stride in the recruitment industry.
Prior to joining the firm, Yee Lai had extensive experience in software development and IT outsourcing. He first started his career as a software engineer at Singapore Technology Electronics (Info-Software Systems) and has worked using state-of-the-art technology in developing complex decision support systems for the Defence Ministry. With his sound technical knowledge, he then moved to handle various Insurance IT projects within the MIS division of insurance giant AIA, and subsequently as a Business Development Manager with A-IT Software Services. During the stint with A-IT Software Services, he was responsible for expanding the company's IT contracting services in the Financial Services Industry.
Yee Lai holds a Bachelor degree in Electrical and Electronics (Honours) from the National University of Singapore. With his technology know-how, he will be an invaluable asset to clients in their talent resourcing programs.
